Security Alert
Fortinet, Sophos flagged this site in external intelligence checks, indicating elevated compromise/scam exposure that requires immediate caution.
TronFinder is a single-page web application presented as a "TRON Airdrop Checker" that also offers to "claim gas" and "revoke TRC20 approvals". It targets holders of TRON-network tokens, and its apparent purpose is to get visitors to check wallet eligibility for airdrops and manage token permissions. It is served from a free subdomain on a general-purpose application hosting platform, not from a dedicated, independently registered domain.
Scam/Impersonation Risk
This is the dominant concern. The site shows confirmed contradictory signals. Multiple independent security engines currently flag it as malicious, and a few more rate it suspicious. Those detections triggered an external blacklist condition, which is decisive for the assessment. No conflicting legal identities and no brand impersonation were identified. The risk comes from the reputational detections and from the nature of the offering. "Airdrop checker", "claim gas" and "revoke approvals" are the pitches that wallet-drainer and phishing lures commonly use, because each one asks a visitor to connect a wallet or sign a transaction. No wallet-connection, clipboard-tampering or drainer behavior occurred in the automated browsing sessions, and no hidden forms or external password forms were seen. These observations do not offset the detections. Behavioral testing did show an unusually high share of outbound traffic. This included repeated background requests and data submissions to third-party destinations outside the expected set, some of them unidentified, plus recurring script errors on the homepage. The hostname is also nearly identical to the hosting platform's own domain, which reduces its value as a distinguishing identity signal. The abuse reports logged against the address serving the site belong to shared platform infrastructure used by many unrelated tenants. They were therefore discounted and not treated as evidence against this site. Evidence:
- Homepage title: "TronFinder — TRON Airdrop Checker, Claim Gas & Revoke TRC20 Approvals".
- Reputation analysis recorded 12 malicious and 2 suspicious engine verdicts, with two tier-one security vendors among them, and the external blacklist condition was triggered.
- Sandbox sessions logged 14 external XHR/fetch requests and 15 external POSTs. Six of each went to non-whitelisted destinations, and the homepage produced 6 console errors.
- 90 abuse reports exist on a shared platform edge address, with a confidence score of 0 and the address whitelisted as a content delivery network.
Regulatory Verification Notes
The pages captured expose no legal entity, operator name, licence or registration reference, so the site's real-world identity remains unverified. Evidence that a legitimate business operates it is limited to the transport certificate, which confirms only that the host name is controlled by the certificate holder. It says nothing about who runs the service. The product category, token approvals and gas claims, falls under no specific licensing regime. The absence of regulatory disclosure is therefore a transparency gap and not an independent finding. No third-party broker or regulatory-database entry matched this site. That absence is neutral and should not be read as reassurance. Evidence:
- The captured homepage lists no company name, licence, registration number or accountable operator.
- The site is served from AS16509 (AMAZON-02 - Amazon.com, Inc., US) at an ARIN-registered address in the United States.
- The TLS certificate was issued by WR1 at domain-validation (DV) level and is valid to 2026-11-27, with about 31 days remaining.
What to Verify Next
Before any interaction, confirm independently whether the TronFinder name belongs to a known project with an official channel, using a source reached outside this site, such as the TRON ecosystem's own directories or a known community account. Any "approval revocation" or airdrop check should be done through a long-established, widely recognized tool reached by manually typed address or bookmark, not through links on this site. Anyone who has already connected a wallet here should inspect its token approvals from a trusted explorer and revoke any unrecognized permission. Confirm the official support and contact channels through an independent route. Evidence:
- The airdrop, gas-claim and approval-revocation functions all require wallet permissions, so the site's trustworthiness directly controls asset safety.
- The homepage names no operator whose claims could be checked against a registry.
- The security detections were current at the time of analysis and may change if the site is cleaned or taken down.
Summary Verdict
The evidence supports a high-risk posture. Active detections from multiple security engines are decisive, and unverified operator identity and unusually heavy third-party data traffic compound them. The technically valid certificate and clean behavioral results on wallet and clipboard handling do not offset these concerns. They are consistent with a basic but operational web property and do not make the site safe for sensitive use.
Infrastructure Integrity
The site sits behind a CDN/WAF layer on Amazon-hosted infrastructure, and all eight observed addresses are edge servers. The origin server was not observable. This is a mitigating factor only and cannot offset the reputational detections. Edge-only visibility also prevents independent verification of the hosting and means content could be swapped rapidly without notice. The shared platform hosting means the infrastructure itself says little about this site's operator.
Closing Assessment
Treat this site as suitable for read-only viewing at most. Do not connect a wallet, sign any transaction or approval, enter credentials, or make any payment or token transfer through it until a reputable independent source confirms its legitimacy.

About this assessment
A trust score summarises the evidence TrustSniffer could collect about tronfinders.vercel.app at assessment time. It is a starting point for your own judgement, not a guarantee: a high score means the signals were consistent with a legitimately operated site, a low or critical score means several risk patterns were present.
TrustSniffer assesses a website from the evidence it can collect at a point in time: domain registration and age, hosting and certificate, the content the site served, and third-party reputation feeds. A score is a summary of that evidence, not a guarantee and not a legal finding. There is no human rating and no user review in it. A site can change after it is assessed.
