Terms of Service

Effective Date: June 2026

API Usage Limits

Your use of the TrustSniffer API is governed by the rate limits and quotas associated with your subscription plan. Exceeding published limits may result in throttling (HTTP 429) or temporary suspension of API access.

Automated abuse, credential sharing across organizations, or systematic circumvention of rate limits constitutes a material breach and may result in immediate termination without refund.

Reverse Engineering Restrictions

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, algorithms, or scoring methodologies of TrustSniffer's risk engine, taint propagation system, entity classification models, or web intelligence heuristics (including DOM analysis rules, behavioral signal definitions, and visual similarity matching logic).

You may not systematically scrape, bulk-export, or replicate TrustSniffer's sanctions database, blacklist data, risk verdicts, or web intelligence scan results (including infrastructure fingerprints, phishing template databases, and domain threat classifications) to build a competing dataset or service. API responses are licensed for operational use within your organization only.

Service Availability

TrustSniffer does not publish a contractual uptime, feed-latency, API-response, or support-response SLA on this page. Service timing varies by network, upstream provider, workload, and notification channel. Any contractual service level must be stated in a separate written agreement signed by the applicable parties.

Limitation of Liability

TrustSniffer provides blockchain analytics and risk intelligence on an "as-is" basis. Our verdicts, scores, and classifications are probabilistic assessments derived from publicly available data and proprietary algorithms. They do not constitute legal, financial, or compliance advice.

In no event shall TrustSniffer be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or reliance on our services, including but not limited to: losses from failed transaction blocks, incorrect risk classifications, or regulatory penalties.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Amsterdam, unless an alternative jurisdiction is agreed in your Enterprise contract.
